Michael B. Jordan Teams Up with StockX and Artist Andu for Exclusive Sneaker Drop to Celebrate the Cinema Release of Sinners

In celebration of the highly anticipated Warner Bros. Pictures film Sinners from writer/director Ryan Coogler (releasing in theaters April 18), its star Michael B. Jordan, who plays twins Smoke and Stack in the film, has partnered with StockX and renowned sneaker artist Andu to release a custom sneaker featuring the ASICS Stripes exclusively on StockX. Starting April 18 at noon ET, StockX customers can place a $1 USD Bid for a chance to win a pair of the one-of-a-kind custom Michael B. Jordan “Smoke & Stack” Juke Low sneakers, size US Men’s 10. The bidding window will remain open for 48 hours, offering fans a rare opportunity to own this unique silhouette.

Inspired by Coogler’s all new scary, sexy theatrical thrill ride Sinners, the custom Michael B. Jordan “Smoke & Stack” Juke Low sneaker showcases the intricate craftsmanship that reflects the light and dark elements of human nature. The sneaker draws on inspiration from the retro ASICS Nippon Evo ST Black SG – originally a football cleat – that Andu reimagined into a pair of shoes fit for modern lifestyle wear. Combining old and new, the blue and red iconic ASICS Stripes embody the juxtaposed essence of Smoke and Stack, Jordan’s characters in the movie. Andu features detailed elements that capture the contrasts of good vs. evil, light vs. dark, and salvation vs. damnation, perfectly aligning with the film’s themes.
