DETROIT, May 10, 2022 — StockX today announced the expansion of its executive leadership team with the appointment of its first-ever Chief Impact Officer, Damien Hooper-Campbell. Hooper-Campbell will report directly to the CEO and will oversee core functional areas including: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), as well as environmental, social, and community engagement initiatives globally.

At StockX, we are firm believers in the notion that investment in community is as important as investment in operations. Damien’s knowledge and passion for developing high-growth company cultures will allow us to take our DEI and social impact work to the next level, while also positioning the platform for the future,” said Scott Cutler, StockX CEO. ”He brings a wealth of experience to the table, but equally as important, has a demonstrated history of turning passion into advocacy and action and I look forward to seeing that come to life at StockX.”

A tech industry vet, Hooper-Campbell brings over 20 years of expertise in culture, leadership development, DEI, social impact, and community engagement. He served in similar roles at companies including Google, Uber, Goldman Sachs, and most recently, eBay and Zoom, where he held the inaugural Chief Diversity Officer roles. At StockX, he will be responsible for enhancing the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategy from a workforce, workplace, and marketplace perspective; in addition to managing community relations and partnerships, and environmental, social and governance reporting, among other key focus areas.

“StockX aims to empower everyone to connect to culture through their passions and I look forward to employing that ethos — one rooted in access and inclusivity — in our work through this new and ever important role,” said Hooper-Campbell. “Not only is this an opportunity for us to build on an already strong foundation across core areas like social impact and DEI, but as a longtime sneaker collector and an avid user of the platform since 2016, I have first-hand experience as a customer and look forward to applying that lens to drive impact for the business and for the broader StockX community.”

Hooper-Campbell marks Cutler’s seventh c-suite hire since joining StockX in 2019. For more information about the company and its leadership team, please visit StockX.
