Masayuki Ino

Born in Gunma province in 1979, Masayuki Ino studied design at the Tokyo Mode Academy. After graduating, he worked at MIHARAYASUHIRO as the design chief for shoes and accessories. After MIHARA, he established the brand doublet with a pattern maker Takashi Murakami. The first doublet collection debuted in Spring/Summer 2013. In 2013, both doublet and the designer were nominated for “2013 TOKYO NEW DESIGNER FASHION AWARD” and won the 1st place award of professional division. Masayuki Ino is also the first Japanese designer to win the LVMH Prize, which he won in 2018.
