"The moment I realized I wanted to become a barista was at 18 years old. I was always a fan of coffee, but had a hard time making a good latte. This is when I thought “I want to make a better one!” From there I decided to work at a coffee shop where I started to like more about coffee, as well as liking more about service, and the job as a barista. Wanting to own a shop was in the back of my head, until I decided to quit my job at the time to work on owning a coffee shop."

Born in Paris, France in 1987. Raised under a French chef parents, she immediately found interest in food. At the age of 16, decides to move to Tokyo. While pursuing her career as a dancer, she becomes fascinated with working at a coffee shop.
After gaining experience at numerous coffee shops, she decided to open up her first coffee shop through – back then still and unfamiliar – crowdfunding in March of 2015. Then in 2016 updated the interior designs as the renewed shop “HOTEL DRUGS” opened. Besides the neatly made delicious coffee in every cup, the shop has gained notoriety through Nathalie’s organic attitude and personality to customers, as well as the location serving as a cultural hub in Tokyo’s culture scene.
