Simons' biggest skill has always been channeling pop culture forces into chic, runway-ready looks. His collaborations with adidas portray this perfectly. The Raf Simons Ozweego for adidas has a much chunkier sole than the original running shoe. It's clearly separated into a heel and toe portion. The color combinations Simons chooses for the Ozweego are generally bold. Mostly, the shoes are color-blocked, with two eye-catching tones represented. The Red/Silver Metallic colorway has a retro-futuristic look. The Bright Yellow/Night Navy colorway is similarly daring. More traditional color combinations are also available, including the Ozweego Raf Simons Core Black Silver Metallic which uses a much more tonally neutral palette.
