StockX offers two ways to sell: the
Verified Marketplace for new or unworn items, and the
Listings Marketplace for used or unique items. A sale begins when a buyer's Offer matches a seller's Ask, or vice versa. As a seller, you can initiate a match immediately using Sell Now, or set your own Ask and wait for a buyer to match.
Selling on the Verified Marketplace
The Verified Marketplace lets you set anonymous Asks on sneakers, streetwear, electronics, and collectibles based on current market value. All items sold on the Verified Marketplace are either verified by StockX or ship directly from a StockX Verified Seller. Buyers see the lowest available Ask; sellers see the highest available Offer.
You have two ways to sell:
- Sell Now: Match immediately with the highest existing buyer Offer.
- Ask: Set your own price and wait for a buyer's Offer to match.
After a purchase is confirmed, you have two business days to ship the item to StockX for verification.
Sellers can also send items into Flex Storage, where StockX will intake, verify, and store the items. Sellers can then list the items, opening up Xpress Shipping options for buyers. To learn more about the Flex Program, visit our Help Center article:

Selling on the Listings Marketplace
The Listings Marketplace is currently available to select sellers in the United States for selling sneakers, apparel, and accessories directly to US buyers through the StockX iOS app. Join the
seller waitlist to get notified when access expands.
Before a listing is published, you need to complete a one-time identity verification (government-issued ID and selfie, or business verification). Once identity-verified, you can:
- Create listings for items in the StockX catalog, and select items outside of the StockX catalog
- Choose a condition (New, New - Other, or Used, where eligible), upload photos, and add a description
- Manage active, in-review, and past listings from within the app
When an item sells, StockX provides a shipping label to send the item to the buyer. Payouts follow the standard batch payout process after the buyer receives the item. The buyer may also choose to have the item verified by StockX. If selected, you will receive a label to ship the item to StockX, and after verification, StockX will ship the item to the buyer.
