What Pricing Tools are available for non-US Sellers?

StockX has launched additional tools to give Sellers more control and insight into pricing their items. In order to simplify Buyer checkout, StockX adds duties, taxes and other import costs into the Seller’s Ask price based on where the Buyer is located.

Alongside the “Sell Now” pricing guidance, which is the price that meets the current highest Bid, two new options are available: Earn More and Sell Faster.

What is the Earn More option?
This is the price needed to become the Lowest Ask in your local market. Local Buyers don’t pay import fees and duties, which allows you to price your items higher.

Typically, Earn More equals the Lowest Ask number shown to Buyers minus $1 (or equivalent local currency). However, there are some special circumstances where Earn More reflects additional taxes in order to help you sell competitively in your local market.

  • Non-VAT registered Sellers in Europe: European tax law requires that VAT be included in the price shown to Buyers. If you are not a VAT-registered Seller, the Earn More value will reflect an additional adjustment to account for VAT.
  • VAT registered Sellers in Europe: European Buyers need to pay a higher tax amount to buy goods from VAT registered Sellers. To account for this tax, the Earn More value will reflect an additional adjustment which will allow you to become the Lowest Ask to most European Buyers.
  • Australia, Taiwan: These countries have tax laws that require all taxes to be included in the price shown to Buyers. In these cases, the Earn More value will reflect an additional adjustment to account for local taxes.

What is the Sell Faster option?
This is the price needed to become the Lowest Ask in the US market. Targeting more Buyers may result in your Ask selling faster. It reflects any duties or import fees paid by the Buyer.

As always, green numbers in your Listings or Current table indicate that you are the Lowest Ask in your local market (Earn More), in the United States (Sell Faster), or both.

Please note, some options may not display depending on the data available.
