Sellers who miss their shipping window may face a $15 USD penalty fee, account restrictions, and/or suspension. Policies for missed shipments differ between the Verified Marketplace, Listings Marketplace, and Live Marketplace.
For the Verified Marketplace
For sales on the
Verified Marketplace, StockX sends periodic shipping reminders by email and through the StockX app. If you miss your shipping window, StockX will send alerts. If the item is still unshipped after these alerts, StockX will cancel the sale, which may result in:
- A penalty fee of $15 USD or local currency equivalent, deducted from seller payouts or charged to the credit or debit card on file
- Restrictions to or suspension of your StockX account
- An increase to your seller transaction fee
Requesting a Verified Marketplace extension
If you need more time to ship, you can request a 24-hour extension within your StockX account.
Please note: New release items sold on their release date include an extended shipping window per StockX policy. Sellers are responsible for having the item on hand before listing and for completing the sale within the allotted window.
If you know you won't be available to ship, enable Vacation Mode before your item sells.
For the Listings & Live Marketplace
Every Listings & Live order includes a ship-by date, typically two business days after a sale is complete. If you do not ship the item within 30 days of the sale, the order will be canceled automatically, and the buyer will be refunded. Failure to ship your item within 30 days will result in a $15 penalty fee.
Repeated shipping failures may result in restrictions on or suspension of your selling access on StockX.
