You can place a bid using your StockX Balance. Your StockX Balance will be auto-applied to any new bids you place. We will charge the final amount to your StockX Balance when your bid is accepted.
Will my StockX Balance be applied to my existing bids?
In order to apply StockX Balance to your existing bids, you will need to update your bid. You can do this by going to Account >> Buying >> Bids and selecting “Update Bid”. In checkout, you’ll see your StockX Balance and Credits auto-applied. To unapply them, click Remove.
What happens to my bid if I don’t have enough StockX Balance or Credits to cover it?
You will still be required to have a saved payment method in order to place a bid. If at the time your bid is matched to an ask, your available balance is $0.00, we will attempt to charge your saved payment method for the amount of the bid. If your order is placed with your saved payment method, you will not earn Rewards credits for this purchase*
Can I apply my StockX Balance to a purchase if my available balance is $0.00
Yes, because payouts are issued to your StockX Balance daily, you can apply your StockX Balance to a bid even if your available balance is $0.00. If when your bid is accepted, your balance is still $0.00, we will attempt to charge your saved payment method for the amount of the bid.
How will my Rewards be calculated for my bid?
StockX will apply the same rewards calculation to bids as with Buy Now purchases. Bids paid for using your StockX Balance will still earn 5%. Rewards are earned on the item price and processing fee. Discounts, taxes, shipping as well as gift cards, or credits used to make the purchase do not earn rewards.
For bids, the final Rewards calculation will be determined once your bid matches and payment is collected for the order. Your Rewards credit will be issued to your account when the item is shipped.
What happens if my order gets cancelled?
Your Rewards credit will be issued only when your item ships to you. If your order is cancelled, you will be refunded your full purchase price as paid. Orders paid using multiple payment instruments, including StockX Balance, StockX Credit, gift cards and/or Rewards credit will be refunded up to the value charged on each individual payment method.
