I sold an item on StockX and it failed the verification process, however I believe it should have passed. What can I do?

StockX reviews every verification failure through a minimum of two independent teams before issuing a final decision. If you disagree with a failure, you can submit an appeal by contacting Customer Service with supporting documentation. The outcome determines whether the item is returned for re-verification or the original decision stands.

How verification failures are reviewed
Verification Experts identify any discrepancies during the initial verification process. The item is then forwarded to the Quality Assurance team for an independent review. The Quality Assurance team evaluates whether the product meets StockX and manufacturer standards before a final decision is made.

How to submit an appeal
Provide Customer Service with the following information:
  • Order number
  • Failure reason as provided by StockX
  • Photo(s) of the product
  • An explanation of why you believe the item should have passed verification

If the appeal is approved
A shipping label will be sent to allow you to return the item to StockX for re-verification. Your payout for the original sale amount will be issued once the item is received and verified.

If the appeal is denied
The original decision on the transaction is final.
