What is Scout and how do I access it?

An update for Scout users: With effect from 1 October 2024, Scout will no longer be available. Sign in to Scout to download inventory, sales and tax package data. NB: this data will only be available until 1 April 2025.

See below for additional options for managing and selling your inventory:

  • StockX Pro: The bulk management tool for those who sell multiple items on StockX.
    • Bulk Selling: Quickly add a single item or create up to 100 listings at once and manage them all with bulk actions.
    • Lightning Speed: Manage your inventory with efficient workflows that keep you in touch with market data to save time and money.
    • Logistics Support: Streamline your logistics with bulk shipping, low ink labels and a more detailed view of your packages.
  • Flex by StockX: The programme for selected Level 3+ Sellers to store, list, sell and fulfil pre-verified items with StockX.
  • StockX Developer APIs: Manage your inventory with access to StockX tools for developers, including Seller APIs, batch and order management, and catalogue APIs.
How do I migrate my inventory from Scout to StockX Pro?
  1. Go to StockX Pro and sign up using your StockX log-in or create an account.
  2. Go to your Listings page.
  3. List your items.

What is Scout?
Scout is a leading developer of power seller tools. More specifically, Scout is a best-in-class, multichannel distribution system through which Sellers can scale their operations with automation, inventory management, tracking and pricing tools, as well as integrations with multiple marketplaces like StockX.

Scout’s full suite of features will be free to all users as a result of this acquisition. If you had an active annual, pre-paid subscription as of 31 October 2021, you should have received a pro-rated refund.

All Sellers interested in joining Scout can sign up to request access on the Scout website. You will be notified via email when you have been granted access to Scout.

NB: Scout can be accessed separately from the StockX platform. The Scout app is currently available on iOS and can also be accessed on desktop.

Where do I have to live to access Scout?
Scout is currently available to customers in the United States, UK, Spain, France, Italy, Germany and Austria.

Does Scout support selling on marketplaces other than StockX?
Scout will continue to support selling operations on multiple marketplaces.

If I have questions about Scout functionality, what should I do?
Please direct all Scout-related questions to the Scout customer service team at scoutapp.ai. A chat box will appear in the bottom right-hand corner, enabling you to speak directly with a Scout team member.

If you are a US Seller and need an item to be returned after dropping it off, please direct all Flex enquiries about item retrieval to your StockX account manager.
