What are the condition guidelines for sneaker boxes sold on StockX?

All trainers accepted by StockX must also include the correctly branded box with the lid and the proper label that reflects the corresponding shoe size and style code.

To pass our requirements, trainer boxes should be in good condition, although may be accepted with minor dents, tears or wrinkles on the box lid that may have occurred during the manufacturing, delivery or storage processes. Boxes for trainers that are five years or older may be accepted if they have slight discolouration or slight damage that can naturally occur from sitting in storage.

Replacement boxes may be accepted as long as they fall within the above guidelines.

Please make sure any QR codes or RFID chips on the box are not removed, tampered with, obstructed or obscured in any way.

For examples of what we inspect when assessing a trainer box, check out our blog post: How to Follow StockX’s Condition Requirements for Trainer Boxes.
