It can perform at the greatest level thanks to a full-frame 20.2MP CMOS sensor, two DIGIC 6+ image processors, a top-of-the-line, upgraded 61-point AF system, which is sensitive to -3 EV and offers all points—even with an f/8 lens as shown in Prime lens. Additionally, the Canon EF50mm F 18 STM Prime Lens 0570C002 has an STM gear-type stepping motor that enables smooth AF for still photography and continuous Movie Servo AF for filming. The lens also has a minimum focusing distance of 1.15 feet and a maximum magnification of 0.21x (0.35m). Its lightning-fast continuous shooting rates of up to 16 fps in live view and 14 fps with full autofocus and auto-exposure are a factor in how quickly it operates.
