Travis Scott has had a monster 2019 on all occasions and hasn’t even dropped an album this year. Coming right off of Astroworld 2, this sneaker is a surefire fall classic. This is Travis’s third Air Force One iteration. This may be his wildest sneaker yet, regardless of model.
The shoe mixes color and print paneling of leather, canvas, suede, and corduroy. This shoe pays ode to his hometown of Missouri City, Texas. The city is a suburb of Houston. The sneaker is inspired by a work jacket. The canvas is indicative of the town’s hard work and grit. Is it really a Travis Scott sneaker if there’s no bulking external piece? The tongue and laces are overshadowed by a giant zippered patch. The patch is split with corduroy and canvas on either side. We’ve never quite seen paneling to this extent; the toebox is even split into three materials.
