A new writer takes on a new week of sneaker releases that are going to set your rotation ablaze.

Welcome back to the Drop List, our weekly roundup of the latest and greatest releases in the sneaker universe. Think of this as your new weekly cheat sheet for navigating the latest releases, what you need to look out for, what you might’ve missed, where you can still get ’em (obviously on StockX) and some jokes to keep you smiling along the way.

Now you’re probably reading this like “Cool man, sounds good and all, but who exactly are you?” Fair question, and worth an answer since we’re going to be linking on here every week.

In case you missed the byline, ? my name is Jamie. I’m the Associate Creative Director at StockX proudly based out of Detroit, MI. I’ve been at StockX since 2018 and if you’ve followed us for a minute you’ve probably seen some of the work me and the amazing creative team put together (plug 1, plug 2, plug 3). When I was 13, I struck out on the 2001 debut of the Cool Grey 11s and I was forever hooked.

My current rotation is Stussy Chucks, Reimagined White Cement 3s, the Oatmeal Nike Zoom Vomero 5s, and a go-to everyday pair on Georgetown Dunk Lows. Hopefully you like where we take this new iteration of the Drop List — at the very least, I’m stoked for the opportunity to write about what sneakers we’re feeling inside the StockX HQ week-to-week. So without further ado, let’s get into it.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High Lucky Green

One of the most highly-anticipated releases last weekend was the new Lucky Green Air Jordan 1. This classic silhouette boasts a unique blend of colors for the ride-or-die Jordan 1 fans, blending white, black, and striking Lucky Green accents that are sure to make it stand out in any sneaker collection.

Whether you’re a lifelong Jordan fan or just beginning to delve into the world of sneaker collecting, the Lucky Green Air Jordan 1 is an absolute must-have. With its sleek design, premium materials, and unbeatable comfort, this shoe is sure to turn heads and earn you plenty of compliments. If you missed out on the original release of the new Lucky Green Air Jordan 1, don’t trip. You can still get your hands on this highly sought-after sneaker through StockX.

Women’s Air Jordan 1 Retro High Washed Pink

If you’re looking for a stylish new sneaker, the upcoming Washed Pink Air Jordan 1 Retro High is the perfect match. This silhouette features a beautiful shade of pink that was specifically designed for the ladies, and its classic design with a modern twist will certainly make it stand out in any collection. With its light pink colorway, the Washed Pink Air Jordan 1 is a versatile shoe that can match any outfit.

Converse Chuck 70 Devin Booker

The NBA Superstar has a well-documented flair for a vintage and timeless aesthetic. Just peep the cars and the retro earth tone fits for further evidence. His first sneaker collaboration with Converse followed suit, taking the timeless Chuck 70 and stripping it down to the bones. The shoe’s crisp canvas upper, and rubberized sole are shown in an undyed “Egret” colorway. These also feature a tonal embroidered Chuck patch and a gum outsole that further ingrains the retro vibes into this coveted collaboration.

The shoes already dropped ahead of the Phoenix Suns’ final home game, and almost instantly sold out. If you’re tired of waiting for a restock email, you can always get ’em on StockX and get your summer rotation right.

Nike Dunks High & Low Run The Jewels

One of the most anticipated sneaker releases coming at the end of this week is a combo of Low and High Run the Jewels Nike Dunks in honor of the iconic hip-hop duo. The Lows are composed of a more laid back blue on blue color combo while the Highs feature a bold and striking Active Pink and black design, and a Swoosh chiseled to look like a jewel — perhaps a nod to the contrasting vocal stylings of El-P and Killer Mike.

Both of these Dunks look slated to release on 4/20 which, fun fact, also happens to be Killer Mike’s birthday.

adidas Campus 80 Croptober

Let’s light up another 4/20 release (see what I did there?) but this time with the adidas Campus 80 “Croptober.” This limited edition sneaker is arriving just in time for the 4/20 holiday, featuring a unique colorway inspired by the harvest season. The entire upper of the shoe is covered in a rolling paper material, allowing owners to tear away to reveal hues of green suede. My personal favorite detail in these might be the tie-dye hits throughout the underside of the sidewalls and insole, in case the rolling paper hint wasn’t enough. As an older millennial, I still have very real marijuana PTSD so I will be passing on these, but the Campus 80 is a sleeper of a silhouette that deserves “high” praise and recognition, more so than the Samba.
