Nike SNKRS Day 2021 on Sunday, August 8th marks the fourth anniversary of the app arriving on our shores and while for many of us, it’s brought nothing but pain and wild amounts of frustration – there’s no denying it’s also been the home of a big number of sought-after releases and restocks.

After originally rolling out in the US back in 2015, Europe had to wait a couple more years to get its hands on the SNKRS app. Since then, it’s gone on to change the game, becoming an essential tool in any serious collector’s arsenal.

What can we expect from SNKRS Day?

While Nike traditionally likes to keep things under wraps in the lead up to the day, we have been given an early glimpse into what’s to come, with Nike SNKRS Day 2021 exclusive Jordan 1 Lows and Nike Air Huaraches confirmed to drop at 2 pm and 3 pm BST, respectively. In addition, this year’s SNKRS Day event promises to be more interactive than ever, with users set to dictate what sneakers release throughout the day through a series of live events.

So far, not much else has been confirmed by Nike, so we can only speculate at which of this year’s releases might get restocked. However, based on previous SNKRS Day events, we can assume that a handful of the past year’s most popular Jordan and Nike models will be made available to discover and purchase from the SNKRS app throughout the day.

Rumoured Releases

From a Jordan point of view, this could see a return of recent collaborations from Travis Scott, A Ma Maniére, and Off-White, including the Jordan 5 Retro OFF-WHITE Sail and the Jordan 6 Retro Travis Scott British Khaki

Additionally, some of this year’s most popular Jordan 1 and 4 releases could be set for a restock, with the Jordan 1 Hyper Royal, Jordan 1 Dark Mocha and Jordan 4 University Blue among the colourways that fans should be keeping their eyes out for.

Also being heavily rumoured are a few variations of the Dunk. Don’t be surprised to find the Dunk Low Black and White and Dunk Low UNC, along with the Dunk High Syracuse colourway to make fleeting appearances throughout the day.

This, of course, is all complete guesswork, and Nike will undoubtedly have a number of surprises up its sleeve. With a number of high profile releases gracing 2021 already, the possibilities are endless. With that being said, it’s definitely worth checking in on the app regularly throughout the day for hidden easter eggs and quickfire offerings.
