The true depth of a story is almost always hidden within the details. Such is the inspiration behind our latest StockX video series Details, taking a closer look at the aspects that elevate a sneaker from just a piece of footwear to cultural artifact. With the second episode of Details, we tap in with one of the most legendary sneakers of all time, your favorite sneaker’s favorite sneaker, the Off-White Chicago Air Jordan 1.
The Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG was one of the most highly anticipated footwear collaborations of 2017. It was the first time Virgil Abloh, and Nike had teamed up and release a set of hyped sneakers. Those set of sneakers, originally dubbed as “The 10” edition, went on to be one of Nike’s craziest release dates in sneaker history.
