This release marks the third Jordan 5 dedicated to the popular ‘90s sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Will Smith, the protagonist of the series, was seen on multiple occasions wearing the Jordan 5 silhouette on the show, making this tie to the series extremely organic.
This most recent release of the Air Jordan 5 Bel-Air brings true ‘90s vibes, with grey leather replacing the suede from its 2013 predecessor. Michael’s 23 jersey number is featured on the sneaker’s side panels, with the number embroidered in two different colors. From there, the midsole is met with a mix of court purple and blue with lime green speckles. Moving back up, more mix-match color changes occur on the embroidered Jumpman and the insole displays multicolored geometric shapes synonymous with the 90s.
