adidas Yeezy 350 V2 Black Core White Resell Recap

There’ve been so many Black Yeezy V2s released lately that we almost forgot we needed to do a resell recap today.  OK that’s a lie, otherwise we wouldn’t have known to launch our most recent Yeezy Promo where StockX sellers received a $25 bonus on any Yeezy sold.  Did you buy, sell or flip the new Yeezy V2 Black Core White this weekend?  How’d you make out?

Let’s go to the tape stripe.

slide15Key Insights:

  • The value of the Core White pair dropped 18% from pre-release to its release date.
  • Among all of the Black V2 pairs, the Green pair saw its resell price drop the most from pre-release to its release date, by just over 30%.
  •  The average resell price for the Core White V2 is now very much in line with the Green and Copper pairs at $458, $470 and $441 respectively.

Here’s how all of the Yeezy 350 V2 Black Pairs have resold from December 12th through the 19th.

slide25Key Insights:

  • Of the previously released Black V2s, the Copper pair lost the most value during this time period
  • The resell prices on the Red and Green pairs remained relatively stable
  • For comparison, the average resell price on the V2 Beluga for all of December (12/1-12/19) is $674

Sadly, this is probably our last Monday-after-a-release Yeezy Boost resell recap for 2016.  Like what we’ve been highlighting?  Ideas on how we can do it better?  Which V2 was your favorite?  Any rumored colorways you’re hoping for in 2017?  What will happen to Rob and Blac Chyna’s baby?

We will have the answers to ALL of these questions for you in 2017.
