Nike Dunk Low White Black

The Nike Dunk Low White Black is once again the most popular sneaker of the week. Typically, a larger supply of a product results in smaller markups after restocks, but in this case the markups are still well over 160% – almost triple the retail value.

Nike Air Presto Hello Kitty

Despite not even being fully released, the Nike Air Presto Hello Kitty became the first new Nike Air Presto to become one of the top five selling sneakers of the week since Virgil Abloh’s Nike Air Presto Off-White. As the Off-White Presto is arguably the best Presto release of the last decade, the Nike Air Presto Hello Kitty is in impressive company.

Nike MAG Back to the Future BTTF (2011)

Last week, the Nike MAG Back to the Future BTTF topped the charts again with a massive sale of $22,000, almost $10,000 more than the model that sold this time last year. As this is one of the original Nike MAGs auctioned off to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation, this pair is more of an artifact than a wearable pair of sneakers.

Best Sneakers to be released this Week

Air Jordan 1 High Heritage

Jordan Brand embraces its roots by flipping the original Air Jordan 1 High Chicago design with the Air Jordan 1 High Heritage.

Nodding to Michael Jordan’s career as a Chicago Bull, the Air Jordan 1 High Heritage features a white and University Red leather upper with hits of black on the collar and debossed Wings logo. A black and red woven Nike tongue label emphasizes the model’s throwback look. At the base, a white and red Air sole completes the design.

The Air Jordan 1 High Heritage releases on Wednesday, May 25th for $170 on the SNKRS app and in select Jordan retailers.

Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog

Crocs and designer Salehe Bembury are back with three new colorways of the Crocs Pollex Clog.

Arriving in Crocodile, Stratus, and Urchin, the Crocs Pollex Clog Salehe Bembury arrives in a unique, exo-skeletal look with dramatic, fingerprint-like concave ridges throughout its foam construction. While there aren’t as many ventilation holes in this design compared to traditional Crocs Clogs, the remaining holes are located on high-heat areas of the foot for increased breathability. A removable canvas strap at the ankle provides wearers with an option for a more-secure fit.

All three colorways of the Crocs Pollex Clog Salehe Bembury release on Tuesday, May 24th for $85 on the Crocs website and in select shops.

Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 & Air Trainer 1

Travis Scott’s label Cactus Jack and Nike draw inspiration from hiking attire for collaborative iterations of the Air Max1 and Air Trainer 1.

Arriving in two colorways a piece, both the Nike Air Max 1 Cactus Jack and Air Trainer 1 Cactus Jack boast design elements that are commonly found in hiking gear. The Air Max 1 pays homage to the original Nike ACG Pocket Knife hiking shoe with a Durabuck and mesh composition and a drawstring Gillie lacing system. The second silhouette in the pack, the Air Trainer 1, continues the theme of outdoor exploration with reinforced velcro forefoot straps, zipper heel pockets, and a concealed tongue pocket.

The Nike Cactus Jack Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1 release on Friday, May 27th for $150 and $160 on the SNKRS app and in select retailers.

Air Jordan 2 Union LA Grey Fog

If you missed on the store-exclusive release of the latest Air Jordan 2 Union LA Grey Fog, you will have another chance this week.

Continuing Union LA’s streak of constructing classic designs with new materials, the Air Jordan 2 Union LA Grey Fog utilizes a grey canvas upper with matching perforated suede overlays to present the retro design in a new light. Light blue eyelets, eyestay patches, and piping add a pop of color, while exposed foam edges offer a worn-in look. From there, “UN|LA” and “HO2021” external tags add the finishing touch.

The Air Jordan 2 Union LA Grey Fog releases on Thursday, May 26th for $225 on the SNKRS app.

Nike Air Presto Hello Kitty

Originally produced as a gift for Nike’s friends and family in 2004, the aforementioned Nike Air Presto Hello Kitty returns in 2022 for its first-ever official release.

The Nike Air Presto Hello Kitty nods to Sanrio’s Hello Kitty, a cult-classic fictional character created by Yuko Shimizu in 1974. The upper is constructed of a light blue neoprene upper with Hello Kitty graphics and a semi-translucent TPU lace cage. At the heel, a Hello Kitty styled heel wrap adds further detailing. A white and black Air sole with Swoosh detailing offers stability and support.

The Nike Air Presto Hello Kitty releases on Thursday, May 26th for $140 in select stores.

Air Jordan 5 Green Bean & Easter

Jordan Brand drops off two pairs of Jordan 5s with the Air Jordan 5 Green Bean and Air Jordan 5 Easter.

Having debuted in 2006, this release of the Air Jordan 5 Green Bean is the first time the colorway has ever been reissued. It arrives in its original grey reflective construction with hits of Green Bean on the tongue and midsole. On the other hand, the Air Jordan 5 Easter is a brand new colorway that features a pastel pink, purple, and blue palette, similar to traditional Easter Eggs.

The Air Jordan 5 Easter releases on Friday, May 27th, while the Air Jordan 5 Green Bean releases on Saturday, May 28th. Both colorways retail at $210 and release on the SNKRS app and at select Jordan retailers.

New Balance continues to deliver its Summer 2022 Made in USA collection with the New Balance 990v3 Sea Salt.

The New Balance 990v3 Sea Salt is a viable alternative to the classic grey suede low-top sneaker. Not only does it have a premium mesh, leather, and suede build, but it also has ENCAP cushioning that will also support daily wear and tear. Plus, reflective material on the New Balance logo and heel cap keeps you visible, just in case you plan on hitting the streets at night.

The New Balance 990v3 Sea Salt releases on Thursday, May 26th for $210 on the New Balance website and in select shops.

Air Jordan Black Samurai Pack

Jordan Brand athlete and NBA forward Rui Hachimura is the first Japanese-born first-round draft pick in NBA history. To celebrate his journey from Japan to the USA, Jordan Brand delivers the Air Jordan Black Samurai Pack.

The Air Jordan Black Samurai Pack pays homage to Japanese textile crafts, and includes an Air Jordan XXXVI SE and Air Jordan 8. Each design features a Twine-colored palette with hits of red scattered throughout the uppers, nodding to Japan’s flag. On the tongues, both Jordan and Hachimura logos are prominent in red and black, adding a custom feel.

The Air Jordan Black Samurai Pack releases on Monday, May 23rd for $195 and $225 on the SNKRS app and in select retailers.
