Lil Durk 7220 The Album CD

Looks like Lil Durk wasn’t cappin’ after all. In the weeks leading up to the release of his seventh album, 7220, Durk challenged anyone to drop an album on the same day. It’s a good thing no one took him up on his challenge – looking at you, YoungBoy Never Broke Again – because 7220 gave Durk his first solo No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 charts (he previously scored a No. 1 album with his Lil Baby collab, The Voice of the Heroes). Gunna, Future, Summer Walker, and more are also featured on the album.

Featuring original music by multi-platinum artist and producer Labrinth, Euphoria Season 1 Original Score has all the genre-blending compositions that complemented and propelled all the angsty teen drama. This is the perfect album to soundtrack your days and nights as we anxiously await Zendaya’s performance in Dune: Part 2 in 2023, Fez’s fate, and the return of the show in 2024.

Phife Dawg Ventilation: Da LP 2xLP Vinyl Black

It’s been six years since the five-foot assassin shrugged off this mortal coil, laying his roughneck business to rest. But the best of us never really rest. Phife Dawg’s posthumous album Forever was released this week and provides a fitting coda to the life and times of one of Queens’ finest. While we wait for the vinyl version of Forever to drop, check out his solo LP Ventilation: Da LP and his genre-defining work with A Tribe Called Quest. Long live the Funky Diabetic.

Most Expensive Music Product This Week

Supreme Fender Stratocaster White

Supreme always brings it when it comes to pitch-perfect collaborations. The Supreme Fender Stratocaster White from Fall/Winter 2017 is one of the brand’s best. Supreme gives the famous Fender model an all-white treatment with the classic box logo on the body between the front two pickups. The guitar comes with a Supreme-branded case, strap, and picks. Selling for over $5,800, this Strat is the most expensive music product of the week.

Palace Elton John Baller Skateboard Deck Multi

Elton John and Palace keep on hitting it out of the park. For the third week in a row, this unexpected collab and the Palace x Elton John Baller skate deck continue to be extremely popular. In addition to the skate deck, the t-shirts, tracksuits, and rug are all fire. Even after all these years, the Rocket Man still delivers.

Juice Wrld Goodbye & Good Riddance LP Vinyl Black

Juice Wrld’s second posthumous album, Fighting Demons, received the vinyl treatment last week, and this week his first album, Goodbye & Good Riddance, is one of the most popular LPs on StockX – we don’t think it’s a coincidence. Featuring production from Benny Blanco, Mitch Mula, and a sole guest appearance from Lil Uzi Vert, the album helped kickstart his too-brief career. In addition to the standard Black vinyl, we also have it in Blue vinyl, and the Takashi Murakami Interscope Records 30th-anniversary special edition.

MF DOOM Mm..Food Limited Edition 2XLP Vinyl Green & Pink

File under: Another generational talent gone too soon. Daniel Dumile, BKA MF DOOM, was the ultimate hip-hop trickster. In a career that spanned from the late 1980s to his death in 2020, DOOM worked with, and rapped cirlces around, everyone from Madlib, Ghostface, Gorillaz, to Westside Gunn. Released in 2004, Mm..Food serves as the official follow-up to 1999’s Operation: Doomsday, and finds DOOM going full gourmand with a concept album dedicated to food with songs including “Beef Rapp,” “Gumbo,” and “Kon Queso.” You’re going to need a soundtrack for your next picnic – thankfully, DOOM delivers.
