It’s a good thing no one took him up on his challenge – looking at you, YoungBoy Never Broke Again – because 7220 gave Durk his first solo No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 charts (he previously scored a No. 1 album with his Lil Baby collab, The Voice of the Heroes). Gunna, Future, Summer Walker, and more are also featured on the album.

While we wait for the vinyl version of Forever to drop, check out his solo LP Ventilation: Da LP and his genre-defining work with A Tribe Called Quest. Long live the Funky Diabetic.

In a career that spanned from the late 1980s to his death in 2020, DOOM worked with, and rapped cirlces around, everyone from Madlib, Ghostface, Gorillaz, to Westside Gunn. Released in 2004, Mm..Food serves as the official follow-up to 1999’s Operation: Doomsday, and finds DOOM going full gourmand with a concept album dedicated to food with songs including “Beef Rapp,” “Gumbo,” and “Kon Queso.” You’re going to need a soundtrack for your next picnic – thankfully, DOOM delivers.
