For our most colorful Details yet, we highlight the new Air Jordan 1 J Balvin. Initially teased during the 2020 Super Bowl performance with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, the Latin American pop star wore the vibrant sneakers on stage. Based on the sneaker’s unique design and lack of rumors, many Jordan heads speculated the chance at a general release. But before the end of 2020, Jordan Brand and J Balvin released the special high-top silhouette on the SNKRS app, dishing out both Ws and of course, Ls.
The Air Jordan 1 J Balvin takes the classic leather sneaker to new heights. The upper consists of a tie-dye canvas with cuts of jagged-edged leather patches surrounding the Swoosh patches. The heel features a velcro patch with interchangeable patches for variety. A complete light pink sole wraps up the collaboration.
