Market Watch: Jumpman, Jumpman, Jumpman

This week’s Market Watch focuses on recent and upcoming Retro Jordan releases. While the secondary market for reselling Jordans might not be as profitable as it once was, there is no arguing it still drives a ton of activity and, if we’re honest, still pulls at the emotional nostalgia that cannot be measured. Check out some of the more interesting things going on with Jordan releases in the latest Market Watch below.

Jordan 7 Retro “Tinker Alternate”

This weekend the Olympic Jordan 7 gets a remake and there is no doubt it has the workings of a successful release. For the story about this unique colorway from the creative mind of Tinker Hatfield, click here.

Jordan 5 Retro “Black Metallic”

The Jordan 5 Retro Black Metallic was expected to be a big release. And judging by the number of pairs we see come through the StockX Authentication Center, it was. However, the pricing doesn’t leave much room for profit unless you are buying below retail because many of the recent sales are at or around retail price.

Jordan 12 Retro “Master”

Jordan 12s have been dropping regularly through 2016 and we recently dove deep into the numbers. Surprisingly, or maybe not so much, the Jordan 12 “The Master” is leading the charge.
