Supreme is back to their old shenanigans with Week 1 of their Fall/Winter 2020 season. Much like seasons past, FW20 Week 1 was a big drop and included a number of new t-shirts, bags, and accessories. The drop’s most popular accessory, the Supreme Bicycle Playing Cards, is guaranteed to make game night an easy opportunity to flex. After all, there’s nothing better than a Supreme accessory we’re actually going to use with our friends.

The Supreme Bicycle Playing Cards are possibly the most accessible Supreme accessory to ever. Now that’s a strong statement, but card games are universal. You can find a deck of cards almost anywhere, and the existence of card games is older than many modern nations. The traditional 52 card deck is nearly 500 years old and it’s almost everyone reading this has at least played some version of a card game with friends, on the computer, or as a child. Some Supreme accessories, like the chopsticks or hand axe, require a level of skill, knowledge, or culture to actually understand or use but playing cards are as simple and comprehensible as can be.

There’s something about a deck of cards that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Walking around with a Supreme water bottle may be too visible for some and something like a Pyrex Measuring cup may see the light of day less often than a royal flush. But with playing cards, you get something in between. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and it’s not flaunting the logo around for all to see. It’s an extra bit of fun added to the one of the most widely known game pieces in the world that will undoubtedly get everyone a little riled up before you deal. Whether your game be poker, euchre, pinochle, solitaire, oh hell, or war; these cards will absolutely add a little bit of excitement to game night and might even draw you a full house. Now we just need a Supreme x Settlers Of Catan Collab.
