Seiko is bringing back a long time favorite: The Seiko 5 model. Since the 60s, the Seiko 5 line has represented everything the brand is about, no fuss and no gimmicks. In its beginning, as a way to appeal to a younger demographic that wanted to get into watches without the hefty price tag, Seiko introduced these affordable pieces while not skimping on the quality.

The 5 represents the essential parts that contribute to a great watch: date window, decent water resistance, automatic movements, a crown at the 4 hour mark, and durability. These qualities have lead to creating a cult following for these essential watches. Such a rave of support has not gone unnoticed, as the brand has released a whole new collection of Seiko 5 designs.

Staying true to its original objective of grabbing the attention of a younger generation, the new Seiko 5s come in a variety of dial and bezel colors, with SKX style dive watch cases. Seiko has also presented the new line by introducing 27 different styles right off the bat, cutting them up into Sport, Specialist, Suit, Sense and Street. By releasing various colorways and designs of the Seiko 5, any person can find their perfect pairing at the right price. And with the forever favorite Shield and 5 on the watch’s dial, you know you’re getting the real deal.

These watches had a special release earlier in August, with hopes of an U.S. release near the horizon. When these release, we can anticipate to see a lot of them wind up on StockX, so keep your eyes peeled to our site for more.
