The Jordan 1 Retro High OG Defiant SB Light Bone is one of the newest releases of the ongoing collaboration between Nike Skateboarding (Nike SB) and Jordan Brand. Nike SB has been known to use what they call “wear away” paint. This is where the top layer of paint wears away over time and use, to reveal a new colorway.
This one features muted tones of grey, with a black Nike swoosh and upper ankle padding. As the shoes are worn, the grey leather starts to strip away to reveal a light muted pink color. Additionally, the same thing happens to the black Nike swoosh and ankle padding. As it starts to fade and strip, the color underneath is a deeper, brighter pink. Smaller details include the Jumpman wings logo on the ankle, and a black and white Nike SB tongue tag.
