The first “Shattered Backboard” colorway released in 2015 and caught a ton of traction. The story behind it stems from a video of MJ shattering a backboard during an exhibition game in Italy in an orange and black uniform. It was an unorthodox colorway but became super popular due to the subtle details and quality. Two variations later we land here. The colorway features a mix of very glossy looking orange and black leather. They definitely appear to be of high quality. The midsole is a more aged cream color. The “Wings” logo on the inside strap is embossed into the leather without any other paint to make it stand out.
