“Mamba Day” is the celebration of Kobe Bryant or Black Mamba’s final NBA game. Along with a special Paul George release, the Kyrie 5 Mamba Mentality honors the legendary sharpshooter. The color scheme of the Mamba Mentality is similar to the Zoom Kobe 5 “chaos” which was inspired by 2008s Dark Knight Joker.
The uppers start with a grey mesh base, with a purple tongue, laces, and lace guard. On the tongue are a bright red Kyrie and Mamba logo. The high ankle features a bright green Nike swoosh. Around the ankle is a grey plating with red speckled paint. The midsole features a white base with red speckled paint and a small sliver of the Zoom air in purple. A bright green similar to the swoosh on the uppers is used for the outsole.
