The Nike Kyrie x Spongebob Squarepants collection is the newest TV show collaboration for Nike and Kyrie Irving. A recent trend for the Kyrie line has been to take Kyries childhood favorite shows and create unique colorways using them as inspiration. One sneaker from the newest collection is the Kyrie 5 Spongebob Squidward.
The shoe features turquoise mesh uppers, with light blue accents. Waterdrop detailing on the lateral Swoosh and heel clip present more texture, while the midsole combines the bronze from Squidward’s shirt with the purple from his hands and feet. Squidward is often times 3rd clarinet to SpongeBob and Patrick, but that doesn’t stop Nike from creating a dope colorway around him.
