Market Watch: Jordan Retro and Yeezy Boost Price Premiums, NMDs and OVO Jordan 12s

It’s been a busy week of releases with adidas NMDs, Yeezy Boosts and more Retro Jordans all hitting retailers but surprisingly the biggest mover this week is not one of this week’s releases. The Flu Game Air Jordan 12 is the most popular sneaker on the site for the second consecutive week despite Kanye West’s latest Yeezy Boost release creating a ton of buzz on #sneakertwitter. Check out the rest of the biggest movers this week below as well as some more insights in the latest Market Watch.

  1. Jordan 12 Retro Flu Game: Biggest Mover

Although the top sneakers this week include a number of Jordan Retros, including the Jordan 11 Lows, the price premium for resellers is significantly less than many might have expected. With both the Cherry 11s and Navy/Gum colorways hovering around a 6% price premium.

Those numbers might not be much of a surprise if you read our recent State of Jordan Resell report. While on the flip side, French Beige NMD price premium sits at about 70% and Yeezy Boost 750 price premium is upwards of 360%. If you’re a reseller, there’s a good possibility your business has shifted from Jordans to adidas accordingly, however, next month we’ll see another piece of this ever-changing puzzle when the OVO Air Jordan 12 releases. But remember, Mark Wahlberg had them first.
