Blood and semen are usually not things you want on your pants for in 2017 Supreme made an exception. The Supreme Blood and Semen Sweatpant was part of a collaborative collection with the American artist, Andres Serrano. Part of the brand’s extensive Fall/Winter 2017 collection, the sweatpants used artwork from “Blood and Semen” series. Serrano is known for taking photographs of subjects that many don’t feel comfortable talking about or even looking at. He has never been afraid to use uncomfortable topics and making them the focus. That is exactly what he did with his “Blood and Semen” series. The artist photographed images created by mixing together bovine blood and his own semen. The combination was placed between panes of Plexiglas and photographed. The sweatpants were made from comfortable cotton fleece featuring elastic cuffs and waistband.
