Named the “Most Influential Skateboarder of all Time” by Transworld Skateboarding, Mark Gonzales is a modern day renaissance man. Not only is he a professional skateboarder but he is also an artist, writer and photographer. Another thing to add to his accolades includes being a long time fan of Supreme. You could find “the Gonz” hanging out at the shop and skating with the crew since they opened the doors. He would even send postcards to the shop during his worldwide travel destinations, drawing pictures and addressing it to “Supream.” Eventually Supreme added him to their list of sponsored riders, leading to constant collaborations every years. Here we see his “Butterfly” artwork featured on tees for the Spring/Summer 2016 season. Gonz’s interpretation of the butterfly is a clown complete with ruffled outfit and big shoes.
