At first glance, the latest Supreme GORE-TEX Anorak Rammellzee has design elements that look like they could have been created in-house but then you’d be wrong. The latest incarnation of the anorak jacket made for Spring/Summer 2020 actually features artwork from New York artist Rammelizee. Born and raised in New York, he was known for his graffiti work, involved with the popular NY scene during its most popular time. But he was an artist that worked on many mediums and now we see his fresh styling on a Supreme jacket.
The anorak is prepped and ready for the winter season. Made from waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX nylon in a two-layered shell in primarily red. With the half zip closure design, the pocket utilities a snap closure with velcro security. Also added to the lower half are zipped hand pockets and interior shockcord for fitment purposes. Other details of the jacket include a packable hood, velcro tab adjusters on the cuffs, and D-ring tab on the chest. Branding is kept compact using embroidered logos on the chest, hood, sleeve, and rear of the neck. The main focus is the slight addition of Rammelizee’s art strewn all over the body of the jacket.
To no surprise, the newly Rammelizee clad Supreme GORE-TEX Anorak Rammellzee was added to the brand’s Instagram page before the season started. It was released in-store and online during the brand’s first drop of the Spring/Summer 2020 season with a retail price of $398.
