Week 11 of Supremeās Spring/Summer 2021 season was a big deal. Not only did Supreme deliver a Nike Air Max 96 with matching socks but the streetwear brand also opened up their first new brick and mortar store in nearly two years, this time in Milan, Italy. As is tradition for Supreme store openings, an exclusive Box Logo T-shirt was made available in-store as a part of the launch. The Milan Box Logo is the first store opening t-shirt to release since 2019 when Supreme opened their physical location in San Francisco.
Rumors about Supremeās new, finally opened Milan location had been circulating for years. Even before the brand officially announced that theyād be opening a new store in San Francisco in 2019, fans suspected that a location could soon be opening in Italy. Needless to say, this weekās announcement and confirmation of the Supreme Milan location wasnāt really all that surprising.
Shortly after the announcement, leaked photos featuring the new Supreme Milan Box Logo began to surface. It wasnāt long before official images of the t-shirt were revealed, delivering one of the most detailed Supreme Box Logo graphics in recent years. The Supreme Milan Box Logo features Leonardo Da Vinciās famous The Last Supper painting inside of it with the brandās Futura Bold Italic wordmark laid over it.
The Supreme Milan Box Logo was released in an identical fashion to its store opening predecessors. On release day, the Box Logo was made available in-store only at the Milan location. For at least a few days, this t-shirt is exclusive sold to those who show up to the drop. It is suspected that the Supreme Milan Box Logo will be delivered online in the next few days. If this t-shirt follows the same release schedule as the Brooklyn and San Francisco t-shirts, then the online drop will likely take place on Supremeās website at 11am on Monday, May 10th, 2021.
This new Supreme Box Logo joins the StockX catalog as the fourth store opening t-shirt available on the site. The oldest store opening Supreme Box Logo on StockX is from the brandās Paris location, which was opened in 2016. The Supreme Paris Box Logo features an all black logo on the front of a white t-shirt. Supremeās Brooklyn Store opened in 2017 and with it came a new box logo that featured a yellow camouflage logo on the front of a white t-shirt. Two years after opening a brick and mortar store in Brooklyn, Supreme opened another US-based location in San Francisco. That storeās inaugural t-shirt was black and featured a burnt orange Supreme Box Logo on the front. The Supreme San Francisco Box Logo is the only store opening t-shirt to be released in black.
