The American artist, who now calls New York and Berlin home, is known for her raw and intimate work that explore controversial topics. Her style developed from joining a hippie commune as a teenager, there exploring her interest to record life’s moments, especially after her sister’s suicide. Drugs, intimacy and the LGBT lifestyle were all themes in her work and continue to be her most popular, and controversial, to this date.
