The Air Max 97 London Summer of Love is one of the six winning shoe designs from the Nike: On Air contest. The Nike: On Air contest brought thousands of participants to workshops in New York City, London, Paris, Seoul, Shanghai, and Tokyo, where locals dreamed up shoe designs inspired by their communities.
The London pair was designed by London local Jasmine Lasode. The shoe celebrates the summer and love, as Jasmine’s personal inspiration comes from a first date spent on London’s Primrose Hill. The shoe features vibrant color hues mixing together hits of Orange, Green, Volt, Blue, and Purple all overlaying a White upper. Other details include “97P” repeated on the racing stripes and “Good Chat” on the pull tabs.
