2021 Topps Gypsy Queen Baseball

2021 Topps Gypsy Queen Baseball trading card release

The 2021 Topps Gypsy Queen Baseball set takes its style from the vintage era of Pre-War tobacco trading cards. 2021 marks the 11th year for this mid-tier Topps Baseball card product. Historically, the Gypsy Queen set is best known for its photo variation cards that include photography from Jackie Robinson Day, Roberto Clemente Day, and The Negro Leagues Centennial Celebration.

The 2021 Topps Gypsy Queen Baseball set returns with a 300 card base set checklist, including rookie cards, and also holds an array of parallels, autographs, and the aforementioned image variation cards. The 2021 edition also introduces the Captain Minis subset for the first time. This subset showcases a top player from each of the 30 MLB teams and is influenced by mini cards of vintage card sets. The Captain Minis subset will include Indigo parallels (numbered out of 250), a Black 1/1 parallel, and there will also be an autograph variation subset. The 2021 Topps Gypsy Queen Baseball Hobby Box comes loaded with eight cards per pack and 24 packs per box. You can find two autographs and one Chrome Topper Pack in each box, on average. While a full checklist has not been revealed, the product preview teases a rookie card for Alec Bohm and Jo Adell, as well as Mike Trout autographs.
