    After an NFL game last year he asked\u00a059 Questions for the Person Who Threw a Dildo on the Field During the Patriots Game<\/a>.\u00a0 \u201cDid the guy who threw it say anything cool when he threw it? \u00a0Did he lean over to his friend right before throwing it and say something like, \u2018You know what they say: \u00a0Football is a game of inches,\u2019 and then throw it? Or maybe, \u2018Some people dil-don\u2019t. Me? I dil-do,\u2019 and then threw it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

    Shea also does analytics.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    He did some Nate Silver-esque number crunching in Is a Head-Butt Worth $35,000?<\/a>\u00a0examining how the NBA polices bad on-court behavior and compared fines levied against certain players. \u201cMarkieff [Morris] kicked a person in the genitals and he got fined $25,000. Draymond Green kicked a person in the genitals last year and he got to go the Finals and then he got Kevin Durant on his team. That\u2019s a way higher return on genitals-kick investment.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

    Shea writes about sports, but also about music and movies and TV and pop culture – which I guess is music and movies and TV – so let’s just say Shea writes about sports and pop culture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    In Let’s Give ‘Con Air’ the Sequel(s) It Deserves<\/a> Shea flexes his mastery\u00a0of other writing forms, such as texting.\u00a0“There\u2019s a scene in Con Air where Poe writes a note to a law enforcement officer on a dead body and then shoves the dead body out of the plane, which is the second most aggressive kind of text message to send someone. (A dick pic is first.)”<\/em><\/p>\n

    Under ‘Pop Culture (TV)’ we’ve learned that\u00a0Shea likes The Wire. <\/strong>\u00a0Yes, everyone likes The Wire but Shea tweets about it better than you.<\/p>\n

    Beyond sports and pop culture, we’ve learned a lot about Shea personally.<\/p>\n

    Shea is\u00a0not a guy who works out.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hell Yes, Gatorade Is In You<\/a>\u00a0Shea explains that, “One time I accidentally did four push-ups trying to get off the couch, so I immediately went and ate 36 Bagel Bites so my body wouldn\u2019t start to think I\u2019d decided we were going to become a guy who works out.”<\/em><\/p>\n
