This Nike Kyrie 4 is known as the “Confetti” edition. It was the first colorway released for Kyrie Irving’s fourth signature sneaker. They draw inspiration from a piece of confetti Kyrie carries around with him from the last game of the 2017 NBA Finals. It serves as a reminder of falling short of victory and honors his win-or-learn mentality. The right sneaker comes in volt while the left comes in purple. Mis-matched branding, an embroidered Swoosh on the sides, quotes from Irving scribbled throughout, paint splatter hits on the midsole and a full icy blue translucent outsole finish things off. Their release date was December 15th, 2017, where they were available exclusively in-store at House of Hoops locations in Boston, Cambridge, Harlem and Wayne, New Jersey. A second drop followed on December 16th, exclusively via the Nike SNKRS app. Priced at $120, they came in men’s sizes only.
