The single most requested feature over the past 73 weeks has been sneaker collections – the ability to see the value of your collection. \u00a0Not coincidentally, the single feature we’ve most wanted to build, is sneaker collections. \u00a0But up until a few months ago, we didn’t have the resources to build it. \u00a0And then we met Dan Gilbert<\/a>. \u00a0And now we have Collections.<\/p>\n Collections is exactly what you think it is, but we’d still like to explain it, in as much detail as possible. \u00a0You can now create a personalized view<\/span> of what YOUR\u00a0kicks are worth. \u00a0But wait, there\u2019s more. \u00a0The flip side of your Collection is what you want to buy – so we’ve created Cop List, too. \u00a0Now you can track the kicks\u00a0you\u2019ve been lusting after, how much you need to save and can watch prices to determine the best time to buy.<\/p>\n Sneakerhead Data for You:<\/strong>\u00a0 At a glance, you\u2019ll be able to see the market value for every sneaker in your Collection, as well as the aggregate value for your Collection as a whole.\u00a0 By tracking how much you paid for each shoe, we’ll calculate how much you\u2019ve gained or lost on each pair. \u00a0You can separate out DS vs. used pairs, and the value of your Collection will reflect the condition. \u00a0You\u2019ll be able to see how your Collection ranks versus the entire Campless community on any number of stats, including total number of sneakers, total collection value and average price. \u00a0And those are just the features we can remember right\u00a0now…<\/p>\n Limitations:<\/strong> \u00a0Unfortunately, Collections and Cop Lists are\u00a0limited to the sneakers that we currently track – now at 1,752. \u00a0But that number is always growing; we add\u00a0more sneakers to the site every day. \u00a0If there’s a particular pair you’d like to see us add, please let us know here<\/a>.<\/p>\n As a fan of \u201cchoose your own adventure\u201d, we’ll let you decide where to go next:<\/p>\n THE SNEAKERHEAD GUIDE TO USING CAMPLESS COLLECTIONS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Collections Overview<\/u><\/p>\n You’ll notice a new section at the bottom of the left hand navigation bar: \u00a0Collections. \u00a0From there you can get to your own collection via “My Collection”, but can also see everyone else’s collection with “Browse Collections”.<\/p>\n Browse Collections<\/strong><\/p>\n You can view every collection on Camplesss in the same manner in which you previously viewed the Price Guide – with\u00a0a “sneaker card” – only each card now represents\u00a0an entire collection. \u00a0And just like the Price Guide, you can use\u00a0the drop-down menu to sort and rank all\u00a0Collections by:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The picture you see on the sneaker card for each Collection represents the shoe with the highest Campless Score in that Collection.<\/p>\n You can click on the sneaker card to view the contents of other Collections . . . and then call them out for saying they got all nine Yeezy\u2019s.\u00a0 Actually, you can\u2019t call out people yet because we haven\u2019t built a comment feature, but maybe that\u2019ll happen in Collections 2.0.<\/p>\n Why are Collections public?<\/strong><\/p>\n Because what\u2019s the point of having a collection if you can\u2019t compare it to others? \u00a0\u00a0Seriously though, we are working on privacy settings in case you’d like to keep your Collection private. \u00a0In the meantime, if you\u2019d like to remain anonymous, we suggest you create a Username that isn\u2019t easily identifiable with you or your social media accounts.<\/p>\n Adding Sneakers to your Collection or Cop List<\/u><\/p>\n First, create an account. \u00a0Gotta do that.<\/p>\n Then, there are three ways<\/span> you can add sneakers to your Collection or your Cop List.\u00a0 1) by Search; 2) Quick Add; and 3) from a sneaker profile page.<\/p>\n 1. Search (\u201cAdd Sneakers\u201d link)<\/strong>:\u00a0 On your Collections page you will see an \u201cAdd Sneakers\u201d link\u00a0in the middle of the page. Click that, search for the shoe you want, select it and then follow the instructions on the page.\u00a0 The only required information is sneaker name. After that, nothing is required, but the more data you give us, the more we give back.\u00a0 It\u2019s the golden rule of data\u2026we think.<\/p>\n If you don’t provide data for the other fields, however, default data will populate your Collection.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s how the virtuous cycle of data works when using “Add Sneakers”<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n
