The Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner<\/a> restock is right around the corner. On Saturday, buyers will get another chance to cop the colorful, chunky colorway at retail.<\/p>\n

This is technically the second time the Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner has restocked. They originally released as a preorder in the fall of 2017; in March of this year, they had their first restock; and now, they’re restocking once again. With a wave of new supply ready to hit the market, prices are falling fast.<\/p>\n

\"StockX_Image\"Last week, the Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner was routinely reselling for over $500. But as the restock approached, prices steadily declined. As of Friday, the average resale price was down to $425. That’s a 15% drop in just 9 days, and the restock hasn’t even happened yet.<\/p>\n

But if history is any guide, prices could fall much further. Consider the first Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner restock.\u00a0When the sneaker originally hit the market, in November 2017, its debut resale price was $670. Over the next four months, prices rose significantly, increasing to a high of $850 in February of 2018.<\/p>\n

\"StockX_Image\"Then, in March, the restock hit, and Wave Runner prices plummetted to $490 – a 42% drop in just a few short weeks. Prices rose slightly over the next several months, but they never came close to rebounding to their original highs. And now, with the second restock coming, it’s hard to imagine they’ll ever regain their former trajectory.<\/p>\n
