For Supreme’s Fall\/Winter 2018 collection, New York City’s Supreme teamed up with their friend GZA from the neighboring burrow of Staten Island to honor one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time, Liquid Swords<\/em>. As GZA’s second solo album, Liquid Swords<\/em> is often regarded as the most lyrically potent hip-hop albums ever created and it includes guest appearances from all eight of the other Wu-Tang Clan members, as well as Killah Priest. The original cover art from 1995, which is featured on this Supreme shirt, was done by Denys Cowan of Milestone Media, which was founded by a coalition of African-Americans artists and writers with the goal to increase the number of African-Americans in US comic books. The album was produced by fellow Wu-Tang member, RZA, who was also featured on a Supreme t-shirt back in 2005. The Liquid Swords shirt was released in sizes from small to extra large on September 20th, 2018, alongside a number of other Liquid Swords Supreme releases.
