In honor of Women\u2019s History Month, StockX will be spotlighting some of our favorite women in the game.<\/em><\/p>\n

For our next installment, we spoke to Andrea Bergart, an artist and designer living and working in New York City.\u00a0Bergart\u2019s work references diverse visual traditions including African textiles, urban fashion, outlines of basketball courts, and geometric abstraction.\u00a0Her\u00a0involvement in fashion and Downtown Girls Basketball (an\u00a0all-women basketball community)\u00a0inspired her to design basketball handbags, as well as paintings and solar prints highlighting WNBA and NBA players, and their culture. Andrea has broken into a male-dominated sports industry with her great deal of involvement in the community of basketball and her unique designs which have been setting trends on and off the court.<\/p>\n
