Here\u2019s a look at our editors top picks of the hottest handbag trends for 2019, fresh off of the F\/W Paris and Milan RTW runway shows.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.)\u00a0Chanel FW19\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The F\/W 19 Chanel runway show was Karl Lagerfeld\u2019s last show. The winter wonderland themed runway show was everything the couturier embodies in his designs for Chanel and more. The collection featured fuzzy embroidered jackets cabin style jackets, head-to-toe hot pink looks, long checkered coats, wide-legged trousers, and of course tweed. Each bag featured on the runway was intricately beaded with multicolored sequins and frills, hand embroidered, and a true nod to both Coco Chanel and the late Lagerfeld.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2.) Louis Vuitton FW19 RTW<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Louis Vuitton SS19 (Fall\/winter) runway show brought back the classic LV canvas monogram back into a new form. Creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere held the show at the Louvre in Paris, France. Ghesquiere revealed updated spins on classic Damier<\/a>\u00a0as well as new colors and textures.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

3.) Fendi Fall 2019 RTW<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Fendi Fall 2019 RTW runway featured a lot of what we’ve seen from past seasons, but with an updated twist. The baguette<\/a>, the holy grail of Fendi bags, came back bigger than ever last season. This season, Fendi continued to showcase their iconic baguette bag by releasing slick, embossed patent leather double bag styles and embroidered belt bag versions of the classic.<\/p>\n

4.) Givenchy Fall 2019 RTW<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In creative director Clare Waight Keller’s Fall 2019 RTW collection for Givenchy, the designer went more so towards the classic Givenchy route, honing in on exquisite velvet and exotic reptilian embossed styles, using the classic “G” pendant logo on mostly all of the bags from the collection.<\/p>\n

5.) Balenciaga Fall 2019 RTW\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Creative director Demna Gvasalia flipped the switch this season with bold, structured bags – focusing Balenciaga’s latest designs on their “B” logo rather than their full “Balenciaga” logo that was seen all over the gram<\/a>\u00a0last season. Pieces from the collection still featured the full logo while exploring different silhouettes and sizes.<\/p>\n

6.) Gucci Fall 2019 RTW<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Gucci definitely scaled down this season from a handbags perspective, compared to what we’ve been seeing in past seasons. Though the bright, kaleidoscopic prints and bold designs took over last season, creative director Alessandro Michele took a page out of Gucci’s former minimalistic designs of the ’90s, creating a perfect harmony of Gucci’s vibe in the ’70s and Gucci in 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
