To help celebrate our <\/span>StockX Chicago Drop-Off<\/span><\/a>, we are continuing our “That\u2019s 5 Chicago” series with visual artist and creator Louis De Guzman. Louis recently showcased his geometric work, including the limited-edition blue version of his Bart Simpson-inspired sculpture, “ELEVATE,” at ComplexCon in Chicago.<\/span><\/p>\n

How has Chicago influenced you?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Chicago has influenced me in many ways: including my personal experiences growing up in such an iconic and bold atmosphere that helped me to develop this thick skin, and the people I’ve met along the way that embodies the work ethic, passion, and hustle of a Chicagoan.<\/span> It is so influential within my work. My daily routine always starts with reminders that I’m a part of such a strong community. This community continues to break barriers and speak volumes for one another while we all continue to get out our dreams.<\/span><\/p>\n
