Boost is a StockX advertising feature that increases the visibility of one Lowest Ask listing for a flat fee of $2.99 for 7 days. Boost requires no budget or campaign management and turns on in a single step. This article covers Boost eligibility, cost, setup, performance tracking, and what happens if you lose the Lowest Ask.
How to turn on Boost
- Place or update your Ask on an eligible listing. Your Ask must be the Lowest Ask.
- On the Review Ask screen, toggle Boost on.
- Confirm the $2.99 payment.
Once you confirm payment, your listing goes live with an “Ad” badge in a boosted placement visible to potential buyers.
To boost multiple eligible listings at once, use the bulk action menu in your Standard Listings table.
How to track Boost performance
View Boost performance, including views, clicks, and ad-driven sales, on your Ask Details page or seller dashboard.
What happens if you lose the Lowest Ask
- If your Ask is no longer the Lowest Ask, your listing will no longer be shown in the boosted placement.
- A Boost warning appears next to your listing, indicating that you need to lower your Ask to restore the boosted placement.
- If you regain the Lowest Ask before the 7-day period ends, the boosted placement reappears and remains active until the original 7-day period ends.
Please note: The Boost fee is non-refundable, and the 7-day period continues while your listing is out of the boosted placement.
