StockX collects your full name and CURP (Clave Única de Registro de Población) for all shipments to Mexico to comply with Mexican customs requirements. The CURP is a government-issued identifier used to register all persons residing in Mexico, including Mexican nationals, foreigners, and Mexican nationals living abroad. You cannot complete a purchase until a valid CURP has been provided.
Entering your CURP at checkout
You will be prompted to verify your information during checkout. Follow these steps when the verification flow appears:
- Confirm your citizenship or residency.
- Enter your first name, last name, and CURP.
After submitting, you will receive confirmation that verification is complete. Please note: verify that your CURP is entered correctly before submitting, as errors may cause delays at customs.
If you have already provided your RFC
If you provided an RFC (Registro Federal de Contribuyentes) when selling on StockX, you do not need to enter a CURP. The RFC is sufficient for customs clearance.
Updating your CURP
CURP information must be updated in person. To locate the nearest CURP module, consult the
CURP Modules Directory.
If you do not provide your CURP
Failure to provide a CURP may result in delays or failed customs clearance. Make sure your CURP information is current before placing an Offer or completing a purchase.
