How do I integrate my Shopify store with StockX?

The StockX Sales Channel App on Shopify lets sellers list products and receive orders directly through Shopify. The integration is open to any StockX seller with an active Shopify account. Please note: the integration currently applies to the Verified Marketplace only; Listings Marketplace support is coming soon.

Fees
Downloading the app is free, but standard StockX seller fees apply, including a payment processing fee and a transaction fee based on your seller level. Learn more: What are StockX's fees for sellers?

Linking your StockX account to Shopify
  1. Go to the Shopify App Store and download the StockX Sales Channel App.
  2. In your Shopify admin panel, select "Sales Channels," then select the StockX app.
  3. Select "Connect" and enter your StockX user ID and credentials.

Products eligible for listing
StockX's catalog includes sneakers, streetwear, electronics, and collectibles from the StockX Verified Marketplace. Confirm your products are in the StockX catalog before listing by searching at stockx.com/sell or by brand at stockx.com/brands.

Used and unique items from the Listings Marketplace will be added soon. Visit our Listings page for updates.

Mapping products to Shopify
Shopify products are matched to the StockX catalog primarily using the Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) value in the Barcode field (ISBN, UPC, EAN, etc.) on a product's variant page. If no GTIN match is found, the system attempts to match using the StockX Style ID product metafield, which should contain the unique Style ID from the product's StockX page. An exact match is preferred. Products that were not able to match by GTIN or Style ID will now appear in your Map Products queue with suggested StockX catalog matches. You review, select the right product, and approve.

To map your products:
  1. Open a product on Shopify and select a variant. Confirm the correct GTIN is in the "Barcode (ISBN, UPC, GTIN, etc.)" field.
  2. On the product page, confirm the StockX Style ID and StockX Size Chart metafields are filled.
  3. On the variant page, confirm the StockX Size Variant metafield is complete.
  4. Use the app interface to select the products you want to list on StockX.

Managing listings and prices
Prices updated on Shopify are pushed to StockX and override any existing StockX price. Price changes made directly on StockX do not reflect on Shopify.

If the same product is listed on StockX both outside of Shopify and through the Shopify integration, price changes on Shopify are reflected on StockX. When an order completes, the order is placed on Shopify and inventory is adjusted accordingly. Deleting a listing on StockX will not delete the listing from Shopify, and the product may be relisted automatically. To prevent relisting, exclude the product from the StockX sales channel in Shopify.

Publishing variants
All variants of a product are published together; individual variants cannot be published separately. To delist a specific variant, remove that variant's GTIN value.

Flex items
Flex items cannot be sold through the Shopify integration. The integration applies to standard StockX marketplace listings only.

When an item sells
When a sale occurs on StockX, the Shopify quantity decreases and a new StockX listing is created automatically if remaining quantity exists in Shopify. Fulfill orders as they come in.

StockX orders must be shipped using the label and documents provided by StockX, available on the pending selling page or StockX Pro. Do not use your own shipping label; orders shipped with unauthorized labels may be canceled.

Payouts
Once StockX verifies your item, you are paid out that same day.
