How to enable Two-Step Verification on StockX

Two-Step Verification adds a layer of security to your StockX account by requiring a text message code in addition to your password each time you log in. Two-Step Verification is also required to make purchases using a StockX Gift Card or StockX Credit. You can enable and manage Two-Step Verification from the Security tab in your account settings.

Enabling Two-Step Verification
  1. Go to the Security tab of your StockX account.
  2. Click "Turn On" at the top of the page.
  3. Enter your cell phone number when prompted.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code StockX sends to that number to finalize setup.

To enable Two-Step Verification through the StockX mobile app, use the most updated version of the iOS or Android app. Two-Step Verification can also be enabled through the web without updating the app, though app settings for Two-Step Verification will not be accessible until the app is updated.

Changing your verification number
To change the number associated with your account, go to the Security tab, disable Two-Step Verification, then re-enable it to enter a new number.

Disabling Two-Step Verification
Go to the Security tab and click "Turn Off." You will be prompted to verify your identity before Two-Step Verification is disabled.

Remembered devices
During login, you can choose to remember a device for up to 30 days. A remembered device will not require Two-Step Verification during that period but will need to be re-verified after 30 days. Only one device can be remembered at a time, so if you use both the StockX app and the web, you can only remember one of the two.

Enabling Two-Step Verification on one device will not log you out of other currently active sessions. Two-Step Verification will be required the next time you log in on those other devices.

Recovery code
When you enable Two-Step Verification, StockX provides a recovery code that grants access to your account if your trusted device is unavailable.

Please note: Keep your recovery code in a safe place. Your recovery code and your trusted device are the only two ways to access your account if you cannot receive a text message code.

What if I lose my recovery code?
Contact StockX Customer Service to request a replacement. Have a valid government-issued ID ready to verify your identity.

What should I do if I can't log in after enabling Two-Step Verification?
If your text message code is not working, try your recovery code. If neither works, StockX Customer Service will assist you further. Have your government-issued ID ready.

Can I use Two-Step Verification without receiving text messages?
Two-Step Verification is only supported through text message at this time.
