StockX Auctions are a new way to buy products on StockX. Users Bid on rare, coveted items. Unlike other items in our marketplace, Auction items start at $1 with no reserve. When the clock hits zero, the highest Bid wins.

How do I Bid on an item?
- Create or log in to your StockX account. You must be a registered user to Bid on StockX Auctions.
- Navigate to the Auction lot you’re interested in and place a Bid.
- If your Bid is the highest when the Auction closes, you win!
What are the payment terms?
Your payment method on file will be charged for the full winning Bid amount (plus applicable shipping, taxes, and fees) immediately after the Auction ends.
A Buyer’s premium of 20% will be applied to the winning Bid amount of all StockX Auctions.
How does shipping work?
Any item you win will be automatically shipped to your address on file, which can be updated or changed when placing a Bid. Most items ship within a few business days, once payment is received.
Why did I get an “Outbid” notification?
You received this alert because another bidder placed a higher maximum Bid on the same item. To get back in the lead, you can place another Bid.
Can I cancel or return an Auction purchase?
Cancellations and returns are not permitted on Auction purchases. However, we stand behind every product sold on StockX with our
Buyer Promise. If we make a mistake, we’ll make it right.
Can auction items be resold on StockX?
Auction items are sold “as is” and may not be in new condition. While some auction items can be resold on the marketplace, they may be ineligible for resale if they do not meet our new condition standards, or if they are unavailable in our product catalog. What is the condition of items sold on StockX?
When does an Auction officially end?
All Auctions close at their official end time as stated on the item’s product page. Please note that the Auction ends at the exact time stated, even if Bids come in during the last few seconds.
What happens if two users place the same Bid amount?
The bidder who placed their Bid first would be in the lead.
Can I set a maximum Bid (auto-Bid)?
Yes, you can set a maximum Bid at any time.
Maximum Bids allow you to set the maximum price you are willing to Bid. Our systems will then automatically keep you in the lead, by one Bid increment, until your maximum Bid is exceeded by another bidder.
Is there a minimum amount I can Bid on an Auction?
All StockX Auctions start at $1.
Are StockX Auctions items Verified?
Yes, all StockX Auction items are StockX Verified.
How will I know if I’ve won?
You can watch each Auction close to see if you’ve won. You’ll also receive an email for any Auction items you win. You can view items you’ve won in the
Buying section of your StockX account.
Are StockX Auctions available to users globally?
You must have a US shipping address and Bid in USD to participate in StockX Auctions.
What are Bid increments?
Bid increments are the minimum amount that must Bid higher than the current highest Bid. You can view Bid increments below, which are based on the amount of the current highest Bid:
- $1 - $99 ($1 increments)
- $100 - $199 ($5 increments)
- $200 - $499 ($10 increments)
- $500 - $1,999 ($25 increments)
- $2,000 - $4,999 ($100 increments)
- $5,000 - $19,999 ($250 increments)
- $20,000 -$49,999 ($500 increments)
- $50,000 - $99,999 ($1,000 increments)
- $100,000 - $249,999 ($2,500 increments)
- $250,000 - $499,999 ($5,000 increments)
- $500,000 - $999,999 ($10,000 increments)
- $1,000,000 - $1,999,999 ($25,000 increments)
